New Web Site for the World Affairs Council

This one is big. After many months of work, we've just launched our favorite site yet! Check out the new Internet home for the World Affairs Council in Seattle: www.world-affairs.org

Quite simply, the World Affairs Council "links greater Seattle to the world". The Council promotes global citizenship and "creates programs and opportunities for local people to interact directly with leaders, educators, and professionals from around the world."

Slidepicker with Views Slideshow

A Drupal web site we're building requires a "slidepicker" for the front page. Maybe there's a better name for this feature, but it's a variant on the ubiquitous "slider" or "rotator" effect that allows a lot of content to be prominently displayed without horribly cluttering the page. Standing on the shoulders of giants, this feature was simple and fun to build, so we thought we'd share our technique.
