Web Strategy for Progressive Causes and Big Ideas
Hello, my name is Erik Fadiman and I'm a graphic "deviner". That means I'm a hybrid designer/developer; I can design web sites as well as build them. I've been a graphic designer for over ten years, and I've been teaching interactive design at the Seattle Central Creative Academy for seven. It's a fantastic job because it forces me to keep up with new technologies in our constantly expanding industry.
I've known investment analyst Paul Howard for years, and when his new company, Solstice Investment Research, needed a new web site in 2009 he reached out right away. He and his partner, Melanie Ryerson, were excited for Solstice to show some forward-thinking and brand intelligence, and revolutionize the use of web and mobile technologies, in a field that has traditionally been stodgy and slow to change.
I had a great time at DrupalCampNYC6 today! I got in on sessions about mobile Drupal sites, the Token module, Drupal and the Semantic Web, and mapping and geocoding in Drupal.
