DTEK is growing! Andy and Benj are up to their ears in Drupal and WordPress development -- exactly where they should be.

I've joined DTEK to help out with the communication, project management and operational aspects of the business. If we haven't already met, you'll probably hear my voice on one of your next project calls.

Before I started freelancing, I ran tech support and customer care organizations for small and medium-sized software companies, and invariably took on the "how can we make this work better?" role, no matter what my title was at the time. Eventually I put out a shingle to help small, community-conscious businesses do the same. I was introduced to DTEK by a friend who knew their commitment to highly personalized customer service and to free and open source software would get my attention right away. Sure enough, as soon as we met we realized we needed to be working together.

When I'm not geeking out about process and documentation, you can find me wandering around in rainy but gorgeous Portland, OR, generally somewhere in the vicinity of awesome local wines, amazing coffees and absolutely fascinating people.

For the first time, I felt like we had a true web partner who put out all their effort to explain what they didn't have to explain and offer advice when they didn't have to.
