Migrating Warner Coaching to WordPress

"Anything or anyone that does not bring you alive is too small for you."
— David Whyte
This quote lives on every page of Brooke Warner's new site, created to help aspiring writers with everything from turning their ideas into a viable project to finding just the right publisher. If you sit down and talk with Brooke for any time at all, you'll see why these words work for her. She's driven, organized and pragmatic—and she's genuinely excited about everything she does. And that's why she was such a joy to work with on our second project together.
We built Brooke's first site, Three Intentions, a handful of years ago, and she liked the theming so much she asked us to adapt it for Warner Coaching. This was a great way to extend her brand while also containing costs by re-using a good bit of the work we'd done on her other site. We imported legacy content from Brooke's Blogger account, set her up with WordPress' simple page and blog post management, and integrated her mailing list and social media accounts.
Before we started the project, Brooke had a solid idea of what she wanted from the site and was committed to minimal revisions. She's also a big believer in simplifying work via effective use of tools, so she embraced our Issue Tracker wholeheartedly (making my geeky project manager heart swell with joy!).
All of these factors contributed to a project that came in ahead of schedule and under budget, with a happy client and a happy team.
