We’re proud to announce the new reverseshot.com, home of the Reverse Shot independent film journal. Reverse Shot is a group of talented writers publishing heady, edgy, incisive and informed reviews of selected films old and new.

The site is built on the Drupal content management platform, and harnesses its power, flexibility, bells and whistles. Content is organized into quarterly issues which are updated often with new articles, and then moved to the archives for easy access. All of the content is searchable, and articles are served up in multiple RSS feeds for your feed reader.

The custom theme we designed lets large film stills set the aesthetic tone, leaving a clean content area for the writing, and plenty of room for the menus to grow as new articles are published.

Best of all, Reverse Shot has control over site administration from top to bottom, including content creation, the editorial process, and the addition and archiving of issues.

So head over to reverseshot.com and browse through the articles, search for a film, or pick up one of the site’s RSS feeds to keep up with the latest reviews. Be sure to tell them Dtek sent you.

We recently helped another favorite Dtek client, Likeness to Lily, add more style and substance to their web site. LTL built on their aesthetic theme by incorporating graphic elements inspired by postcards from the 1930s that were inherited by Lily singer/songwriter Susan Oetgen.

We also added their debut album, Solitude’s Dollhouse, to the site, including lyrics, mp3s, and a link to buy the album from their music page.

Perennial Dtek All-Star and portfolio favorite, Oso Industries, has come up with 4 new cast concrete furniture designs. Check out his updated web site to see these beauts, and be sure to see the demo videos we put together for him in the furniture section.
