Secondhand Smoke: 4.9 Screening & Web Launch
April 5th, 2006 by Rhys
The Dtek music video Secondhand Smoke is being screened at 4pm this Sunday, April 9th at Pianos in New York’s Lower East Side as part of the Freedom Festival. The screening will be followed by an informal chat on the value of independent artist collaborations in the age of audio & video file sharing.
Here’s the Freedom Fest music lineup & info, featuring lots of good bands including Vague Angels (who sing the song Secondhand Smoke).
More good news:
The final cut of the video is now available on dtek.net. You can see it on its showcase page or directly from our Portfolio.

Long-time Dtek friends Will H and Emily D are starting a non-profit organization to grow organic produce on their land in North Carolina for distribution to school kids, food banks and others who can’t normally afford it. The name is Common Ground — we made the logo, and we’re proud to be a part of the process.
