Remember Arnold Schwarzenegger the body builder? Photographer-turned-documentary film making legend and founder of White Mountain Films George Butler introduced Arnie to the world with his 1976 film, Pumping Iron.
Butler has produced a great body of film and photography work since, and the old WMF website was not doing it justice. We took their existing branding and created a minimal layout to showcase their portfolio, film stills and photos. Under the hood, we gave the code an audit and overhaul for accessibility, search engine optimization, and ease-of-maintenance.
Keep an eye on whitemountainfilms.com for films on subjects as diverse as the ancient and thought-to-be-extinct Ivory Billed Woodpecker, and the ancient and soon-to-be retired football coach Bobby Bowden.

We have completely overhauled the website of Dtek All-Star and portfolio favorite, Oso Industries! Check out the new site with all of the old standards and videos, as well as slick new custom installations, furniture, additions to his furniture line, and more.
We created a photo-driven layout with a pool of background images that show off the texture of Oso’s troweled concrete surfaces. And site maintenance is simple… Oso can add new furniture, custom work, press, and videos in a couple of quick steps.

Claire Nitze is a Brooklyn-based photographer who was unhappy with her old Flash-based web site. We audited the old site, consulted with her on a better design, and built a new standards-based, semantic site at clairenitze.com.
Check out the site, and her current gallery of photos taken in Miami.

Debra Neumann is an experienced psychotherapist based in Maryland. She needed a web presence for her business, and was referred to us by Dtek friend and client, Steve Wong.
We helped Dr. Neumann build a clean informational site based on her existing branding. The site answers common questions about her services, provides forms and supporting material, and allows folks to get to know her before starting therapy. The site is debraneumannphd.com.
(And yes, we’ve lately been working with a lot of psychologists in the DC area. Just so you know, we’re still feeling quite peaceful and sane, and are not contemplating moving either of our offices…)

Run for Congo Women is an advocacy project spearheaded by the inspiring Portland-based runner and activist Lisa Shannon.
Lisa had an existing site that she’d built herself, but wasn’t meeting her standards of professionalism and ease-of-use. She needed a new site up in a hurry in anticipation of exposure in Runners World and Oprah Magazines, and upcoming running events. We performed an audit of the old site, and implemented Lisa’s vision of the graphic design to our usability and technical standards. The new runforcongowomen.org is now available to greet her organization’s growing audience!
